1. Students must find a news article online (published in the last 60 days)
2. Print full article (date must be shown along with the url)
3. Go to the classroom webpage, find the Toulmin Model Worksheet (there are three versions one in a Word doc, one in an RTF format, and one in a PDF format, pick the one that works for you)
4. Map the arguments made in the news article ON Toulmin Model Template (This must be typed - if you can't type on it you can recreate it on your computer)
5. Bring the article AND the Toulmin Model Template to class completely filled out and ready to turn in.
Note: if your article does not map to the model - find another news article that will -
also students who do not have the date, the url, or have not typed their submission will earn a zero on this portion of the final exam.
