Bias Reaction - Are you prejudiced????

Picture
Time to find out.... As an extra credit assignment go to the following link to take a quiz:

www.implicit.harvard.edu

When you go to the webpage click on "demonstration",

then click "go to demonstration tests"

then click "I wish to proceed" that will take you to the list of tests

Take the "Race IAT" test - follow the directions, when you finish the computer should calculate your results - even if they are inconclusive print the screen to prove you took the test.

Next I want you to sit and think about what happened -

how does it make you feel?

did you notice anything?

how was your reaction time?

try another category - I'll let you pick which one you want to take

Write a full page - FULL page of your reaction to both of the tests you took.
Do not play with the margins - reaction papers should be a FULL page or more. Make sure you print the results to earn credit.
Reaction papers must be typed - and turned in by the deadline posted on your webpage.

So you get:

15 points for the reaction paper

NOTE: Screen print out must accompany reaction paper for credit.
